Standard rates for Legal Aid Agency police station attendance instructions.
Rates Subject to Agreement
The rates published below are our standard indicative rates for ordinary Legal Aid matters.
EXCLUSIONS & SPECIAL RATES:
- Murder & Complex Cases: These are strictly outside the standard fee structure. Fees for murder and complex cases must be agreed individually in advance.
- Bank Holidays & Christmas: All attendances on Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day are charged at the full police station attendance fee as given to the provider by the Legal Aid Agency, not standard agency rates.
- Out of Hours: Higher rates may apply for attendances between 22:00 - 08:00.
Any variation to these rates will be agreed in writing (email/text) prior to attendance.

Payment Terms
All fees are exclusive of VAT. Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at 8% above the Bank of England base rate pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
