Your Rights Matter

Voluntary Police Interviews

Being "invited" for a police interview is just as serious as an arrest. Protect your rights with expert legal representation.

Warning: A Voluntary Interview is Not an Informal Chat

Anything you say in a voluntary interview is recorded and can be used as evidence against you. It is a formal interview under caution, and attending without a solicitor is a significant risk.

Why You MUST Have a Solicitor
It's Free: Just like an interview under arrest, your legal representation for a voluntary interview is completely free under the Legal Aid scheme.
We Get Disclosure: Before the interview, we can speak to the police to get information about the allegation against you, allowing us to advise you properly.
We Advise You: Based on the evidence, we will advise you on the best course of action – whether to answer questions, provide a written statement, or remain silent.
We Ensure Fairness: We are there to ensure the interview is conducted fairly and to prevent improper questioning from the police.
